Cathedral Point

Cathedral Point is a kilometre north of Imsouane port, on the far side of the bay. Where La Baie is long and forgiving, Cathedral is shorter, faster and less forgiving: a right-hand point over mixed rock and sand, with sections that stand up and barrel at low tide.

It is the intermediate and advanced counterpart to the bay, and the two want the same conditions, so a session here is a choice rather than a fallback. Northwest swell, easterly offshore, best low.

This sheet is deliberately short. The one forecasting guide that carries the name describes the beach in the bay, not this point, so none of its figures are repeated here. Crowd, coordinates and the monthly percentages stay blank until somebody measures the point itself.
