The camp
Olas Surf Camp is the low-friction way to surf Imsouane. The point break is a walk from the door, the transfer from Agadir or Essaouira is included, and you can arrive on any day of the week rather than fitting a Saturday-to-Saturday slot.
Beds run from a dorm to a private room, so the same house takes a solo traveller on a budget and a couple who want a door that closes. Full board, three meals, daily lessons with the theory alongside them, and groups split by level and kept small. Boards and wetsuits are included, free surfing included with them.
What it is really selling is the Bay itself: a first long wave, the kind where you stand up and keep going long enough to think about what you are doing. That is a rare thing to be able to promise a beginner.
What it is not is a night out. Imsouane is a village and stays one, and the camp says so rather than dressing it up.
