Killer Point is north of Taghazout, named after the pod of orcas that passes offshore. A fairly exposed point with dependable swell, and the heaviest, most pitching wave in the region.
It works at all stages of the tide, on a northwest groundswell, with an easterly offshore and some shelter when the wind swings north. December gives twelve clean days out of thirty, twelve blown out, five too small.
It very rarely gets crowded, and that is no accident: the paddle-out takes twenty minutes on a big day, the bottom is rock, and the line-up belongs to people who surf it all year. Expert ground, plainly.
