La Source is a reef right with a secondary left, and the one break here that can work at any time of year. That is rare on a coast whose season runs October to March, and worth knowing if your holiday falls outside it.
It is at its best on a rising high tide, on a northwest swell with a northeasterly offshore. January gives eighteen clean days out of thirty, seven blown out, five too small.
Rarely crowded, and rock the whole way in: that is what keeps it quiet, and what reserves it for people who know where to put their feet.
