Devil's Rock is a sandbar beach break on the long beach below Tamraght, with prevailing lefts and rides of fifty to a hundred metres. It is the winter answer for a first week: when the points are too big to be sensible, this is still surfable.
Best around mid tide, on a northwest groundswell with a northeasterly offshore. January gives clean conditions 62% of the time, blown out 25%, and too small 13%.
It is unlikely to be too crowded even when the surf is up, and no guide names a hazard here. That is not the same as saying it is safe, but on this coast it is as close as the sources get.
