Azul Guesthouse is a Berber guesthouse in the middle of Tamraght, not a compound on the edge of it, and that is most of the experience. The rooftop runs the full circle of the horizon, the valley on one side and the ocean on the other, and the yoga happens up there.
Rooms go from a dorm bed to a family suite, which is a wider spread than most houses on this coast attempt. It means a solo traveller on the cheapest bed still gets the surf school, the full board and the same transport as everybody else, and a family of four can be in one room without splitting up.
Two two-hour sessions a day, with the van going wherever the level of the group calls for: Banana Beach on its doorstep, Anchor Point and Boilers ten minutes north. Full board, and a barbecue once a week.
Two things to plan around: the advertised rate assumes six nights, and Thursday is the night off, so no dinner is served. On a guided week the board is hired separately.

Frequently asked questions
What does full board mean here?
Breakfast, a packed lunch with fruit, afternoon tea and dinner, plus one barbecue a week. Thursday dinner is the exception: that is the night off. A special diet is 5 € a day, vegetarian and pescatarian aside.
Is the board included?
On the surf school week, yes, wetsuit and board both. On the guiding week they are hired: a wetsuit from 5 € a day, a board from 10 to 20 €, insurance 5 €.
Is there anything to pay on arrival?
The tourist tax, 2 € per person per night, which is collected at the house rather than online.
