October is the month to book if the choice is yours. The North Atlantic starts producing again and the first swells reach the north shore, and the sea is at its warmest of the whole year: October edges September by a tenth of a degree.
Every other good month here asks you to pick. December and January have the swell and cold water. June to August have warm water and nothing to surf. October is the fortnight or so in the middle where both are true at once, and the rains are ending.
It is not the biggest month, and Ngor will not be doing what it does in February. It is the month with the fewest compromises, which for a week booked months in advance is a different and usually better thing.
