February repeats January where it counts, 2.2 m at 12.5 seconds and wind workable seventeen days out of thirty, with one difference you feel in the water rather than see on it: this is the coldest month, 17 °C, the annual minimum.

One degree reads like nothing. Two hours into a session it decides gloves and boots, and it is why wetsuit guides switch to a 4/3 mm in February. The air makes up some of it, 22 °C in the day and 8 hours of sun, half a degree and twenty minutes more than January.

Crowds stay high and so do prices, but the Christmas peak is behind. Three rainy days and 28.6 mm make it the driest of the three winter months.

The same answer as January, with one more layer. Devil's Rock and Banana Beach in Tamraght are the two sand-bottomed defaults, and Imsouane bay takes the swell without giving it back. What actually changes in February is the wetsuit: at 17 °C a 3/2 mm is fine for an hour's lesson and thin for three hours in the water. This is the month where renting a 4/3 mm from the camp changes the week.
